THE AIM OF THE COURSE IS TO:
The aim of the Circular Saw course is to train candidates to safely and efficiently set up, operate, and maintain a circular saw in line with NPORS standards and workplace safety requirements.
WHO DO WE RECOMMEND ATTENDS THE COURSE?
The Circular Saw course is recommended for anyone who uses or is required to use a circular saw at work, including carpenters, joiners, construction workers, maintenance staff, and site operatives. It is suitable for both new and experienced users who need formal training or NPORS certification to ensure safe and efficient operation.
COURSE SUMMARY

Provides training in the safe and efficient use of circular saws.

Includes both NPORS theory and practical assessments.

Training and testing can be carried out at our training centre, or at your site premises providing site specifications can be met.
COURSE DURATION
1 Day
HEALTH & SAFETY TRAINING / TESTING
Candidates are required to have passed the CITB Health, Safety & Environmental test within the past 24 months to obtain the NPORS CSCS Trained Operator card. This test is not mandatory for the Traditional card but can be added upon request.
TESTING / CERTIFICATION
All candidates will complete the Full NPORS Theory & Practical Test and on successful completion will be issued with A 5 year NPORS Traditional Operator card or a 2 year NPORS CSCS Trained Operator card.
