THE AIM OF THE COURSE
The aim of the SSSTS Refresher (SSSTS‑R) (1-day) course under the CITB “Site Safety Plus” scheme is broadly to update and reinforce the health, safety, welfare and environmental knowledge of site supervisors who already hold the full Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) certificate.
WHO DO WE RECOMMEND ATTENDS THIS COURSE
The SSSTS Refresher Course is for current site supervisors, team leaders, and forepersons who hold a valid SSSTS certificate and need to renew it. This one-day course updates essential health, safety, and environmental knowledge, reinforces supervisory responsibilities, and ensures continued compliance with current legislation and best practice on site.

COURSE DURATION

CERTIFICATION
Upon successful completion of the course, participants receive a CITB Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) Refresher certificate. This qualification is issued by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) and is valid for five years, confirming the holder’s up-to-date knowledge of current health, safety, welfare, and environmental regulations for effective site management.
