THE AIM OF THE COURSE
The aim of this First Aid at Work (3 Day) course is to provide participants with the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills required to effectively respond to a wide range of workplace medical emergencies. The course enables learners to administer immediate first aid, manage injuries and illnesses, and comply with current workplace health and safety regulations. Participants will gain the competence to assess situations quickly, provide lifesaving treatment, and support casualties until professional medical help arrives.

COURSE SUMMARY

Adult CPR and use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

Management of unconscious casualties

Treatment of bleeding, wounds, burns, and shock

Recognition and management of heart attacks and strokes

Treatment of choking and breathing difficulties

Management of fractures, sprains, and spinal injuries

Treatment of minor injuries and medical conditions

Dealing with seizures, diabetic emergencies, allergic reactions, and asthma

THEORY & PRACTICAL ASSESSMENTS

COURSE DURATION

TESTING / CERTIFICATION
All candidates will complete the Full (Theory & Practical) First Aid at Work Assessment.
Upon successful completion, candidates will receive a First Aid at Work Certificate, valid for 3 years, in accordance with workplace first aid requirements.
