THE AIM OF THE COURSE IS TO:
The aim of the NPORS Grass Cutter / Mower course is to train candidates to safely and efficiently operate grass cutting machinery, including pre-use checks, machine controls, maintenance, and safe working practices in line with NPORS standards.
WHO DO WE RECOMMEND ATTENDS THE COURSE?
The NPORS Grass Cutter / Mower course is recommended for anyone who operates or will operate grass cutting machinery, including grounds maintenance staff, landscapers, local authority workers, and site operatives. It is suitable for both new and experienced operators who require formal training or NPORS certification to ensure safe and competent operation.
COURSE SUMMARY

Provides training in the safe and efficient operation of grass cutters and mowers.

Covers pre-use checks, machine controls, and basic maintenance.

Includes both NPORS theory and practical assessments.
LOCATIONS
Training and testing can be carried out at our training centre, or at your site premises providing site specifications can be met.
COURSE DURATION
1- 2 days depending on experience and candidate numbers
HEALTH & SAFETY TRAINING / TESTING
Candidates are required to have passed the CITB Health, Safety & Environmental test within the past 24 months to obtain the NPORS CSCS Trained Operator card. This test is not mandatory for the Traditional card but can be added upon request.
TESTING / CERTIFICATION
All candidates will complete the Full NPORS Theory & Practical Test and on successful completion will be issued with A 5 year NPORS Traditional Operator card or a 2 year NPORS CSCS Trained Operator card.
