THE AIM OF THE COURSE IS TO:
The aim of the NPORS Hand-Held Hedge Trimmer course is to train candidates to safely and efficiently operate a hedge trimmer, including pre-use checks, machine controls, cutting techniques, and maintenance, ensuring competent and responsible operation in line with NPORS standards.
WHO DO WE RECOMMEND ATTENDS THE COURSE?
The Hand-Held Hedge Trimmer course is for anyone operating hedge trimmers, including landscapers and grounds staff, and is suitable for both new and experienced operators needing NPORS certification.
COURSE SUMMARY

LOCATIONS
Training and testing can be carried out at our training centre, or at your site premises providing site specifications can be met.
COURSE DURATION
1- 2 days depending on experience and candidate numbers
HEALTH & SAFETY TRAINING / TESTING
Candidates are required to have passed the CITB Health, Safety & Environmental test within the past 24 months to obtain the NPORS CSCS Trained Operator card. This test is not mandatory for the Traditional card but can be added upon request.
TESTING / CERTIFICATION
All candidates will complete the Full NPORS Theory & Practical Test and on successful completion will be issued with A 5 year NPORS Traditional Operator card or a 2 year NPORS CSCS Trained Operator card.
