In-House Asbestos Awareness

THE AIM OF THE COURSE IS TO:

This In-House course aims to equip participants with the knowledge to identify asbestos-containing materials, understand the associated health risks, and apply safe work practices to prevent exposure in the workplace.

WHO DO WE RECOMMEND ATTENDS THE COURSE?

This course is recommended for construction and maintenance staff, supervisors, facility managers, and anyone who needs to recognize asbestos hazards and apply safe work practices in the workplace.

COURSE SUMMARY

• Identify asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) in the workplace

• Understand health risks associated with asbestos exposure

• Apply safe work practices to minimize exposure

• Comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards

• Recognize hazards and implement appropriate risk controls

• Respond effectively to asbestos-related incidents or emergencies

• Inhouse Theory & Practical Assessments

LOCATIONS

Training and testing can be carried out at our training centre, or at your site premises providing site specifications can be met.

COURSE DURATION

1/2 Day.

TESTING / CERTIFICATION

All candidates will complete the Full (Theory & Practical) Inhouse Technical Test and on successful completion will be issued with an Inhouse Certificate.
