THE AIM OF THE COURSE IS TO:
The Counterbalance Forklift Truck course is designed to provide candidates with the essential theoretical and practical knowledge required to safely and efficiently operate the machine in accordance with NPORS standards.
WHO DO WE RECOMMEND ATTENDS THE COURSE?
A counterbalance forklift course is recommended for new or experienced operators, supervisors, and workers who use or oversee forklift operations in construction, warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
COURSE SUMMARY

Health & Safety and relevant regulations (HASAWA, PUWER, LOLER, L117)

Safe use of battery, diesel, and LPG forklifts

Lifting principles, stability, and counterbalance operation

Steering, pallet handling, stacking, and vehicle loading

Daily checks and maintenance
- NPORS Theory & Practical Assessments
LOCATIONS
Training and testing can be carried out at our training centre, or at your site premises providing site specifications can be met.
COURSE DURATION
1- 5 days depending on experience and candidate numbers
Candidates are required to have passed the CITB Health, Safety & Environmental test within the past 24 months to obtain the NPORS CSCS Trained Operator card. This test is not mandatory for the Traditional card but can be added upon request.
TESTING / CERTIFICATION
All candidates will complete the Full NPORS Theory & Practical Test and on successful completion will be issued with A 5 year NPORS Traditional Operator card or a 2 year NPORS CSCS Trained Operator card.
