Event Description

THE AIM OF THE COURSE IS TO:

To provide operators with the knowledge and skills to safely and efficiently operate an industrial telescopic handler in line with NPORS standards and Health and Safety regulations.

WHO DO WE RECOMMEND ATTENDS THE COURSE?

This course is recommended for operators, supervisors, or workers who use or will be required to use an industrial telescopic handler in their daily duties. It is suitable for both novice and experienced operators who need formal training or certification in line with NPORS standards.

COURSE SUMMARY

LOCATIONS

Training and testing can be carried out at our training centre, or at your site premises providing site specifications can be met.

COURSE DURATION

1- 5 days depending on experience and candidate numbers

HEALTH & SAFETY TRAINING / TESTING

Candidates are required to have passed the CITB Health, Safety & Environmental test within the past 24 months to obtain the NPORS CSCS Trained Operator card. This test is not mandatory for the Traditional card but can be added upon request.

TESTING / CERTIFICATION

All candidates will complete the Full NPORS Theory & Practical Test and on successful completion will be issued with A 5 year NPORS Traditional Operator card or a 2 year NPORS CSCS Trained Operator card.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Forde Training is a registered ATO and can automatically claim any applicable grants upon successful completion of this course.
