THE AIM OF THIS QUALIFICATION:
The aim of a Level 4 Lifting Operations VQ (Vocational Qualification) is to assess learners who have the knowledge, skills, and practical competence to safely plan, supervise, and manage lifting operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and legal requirements on site.
WHO DO WE RECOMMEND FOR THIS QUALIFICATION?
The Level 4 Lifting Operations Crane Supervisor qualification is recommended for experienced personnel responsible for supervising and managing lifting operations.
THE CANDIDATE MUST BE ABLE TO:

LOCATIONS
The SVQ in Lifting Operations is assessed through practical, site-based evaluations to demonstrate competence in real working conditions.

CERTIFICATION
Upon successful completion, candidates receive a site‑assessed SVQ Lifting Operations certification, verifying their competence, skills, and knowledge in lifting operations safely and effectively. The certification is nationally recognized and demonstrates compliance with industry and health and safety standards.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must have successfully completed a CSCS Health & Safety test within the last 24 months and hold a current, valid CPCS or NPORS trained operator card to be eligible to start the VQ.
