Event Description

THE AIM OF THE COURSE IS TO:

Provide the candidate with the theoretical and practical knowledge involved in Loading and Securing to CPCS standards.

THE OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE ARE TO ENABLE DELEGATES TO:

  • Understand the role and responsibilities of a loader securer.

  • Recognise hazards and work safely during loading operations.

  • Use the correct equipment to secure plant safely and correctly.

  • Follow legal and industry standards for load restraint.

  • Carry out essential checks to ensure loads are safe for transport.

WHO DO WE RECOMMEND ATTENDS THE COURSE?

All personnel required to load, secure and transport.

COURSE SUMMARY

Candidates will participate in power point, videos & practical demonstration covering:

  • Provides essential training in safely loading and securing plant and machinery for transport.

  • Covers key responsibilities, safety procedures, and hazard awareness for loader securers.

  • Teaches correct selection and use of securing equipment such as chains, straps, and anchor points.

  • Demonstrates safe loading techniques and compliant load-restraint methods.

  • Reviews relevant legislation, transport regulations, and industry best practice.

  • Includes practical training and assessment to confirm competence in securing plant for safe movement.

LOCATIONS

Training and testing can be carried out at your site premises providing site specifications can be met.

COURSE DURATION

1-4 days depending on experience and candidate numbers

HEALTH & SAFETY TRAINING / TESTING

Health & Safety Test Specific to your chosen category MUST be passed before a CPCS Technical Test can be Taken.

TESTING / CERTIFICATION

All candidates will complete the Full (Theory & Practical) CPCS Technical Test and on successful completion will be issued with a CPCS Red Trained Operators Card
