THE AIM OF THE COURSE IS TO:
The Mobile Crane course is designed to provide candidates with the essential theoretical and practical knowledge required to safely and efficiently operate the machine in accordance with NPORS standards.
WHO DO WE RECOMMEND ATTENDS THE COURSE?
A Mobile Crane course is recommended for new or experienced operators, slinger/signallers, supervisors, and site personnel who operate or oversee mobile crane lifting operations in construction, industrial, or port environments.
COURSE SUMMARY

Understand industry roles, responsibilities, and safety requirements

Identify main components, controls, and terminology

Follow manufacturer’s guidelines and relevant legislation

Complete documentation and pre-use checks

Configure for site and highway travel and manoeuvre safely

Set up for lifting, deploy outriggers, and manage hazards

Use Rated Capacity Indicators and lift/place loads accurately

Control load swing and move loads safely
-
Follow signals, rigging, and de-rigging procedures

Dismantle, shut down, and secure the crane safely

LOCATIONS
Training and testing can be carried out at our training centre, or at your site premises providing site specifications can be met.
COURSE DURATION
1- 10 days depending on experience and candidate numbers
HEALTH & SAFETY TRAINING / TESTING
Candidates are required to have passed the CITB Health, Safety & Environmental test within the past 24 months to obtain the NPORS CSCS Trained Operator card. This test is not mandatory for the Traditional card but can be added upon request.
TESTING / CERTIFICATION
All candidates will complete the Full NPORS Theory & Practical Test and on successful completion will be issued with A 5 year NPORS Traditional Operator card or a 2 year NPORS CSCS Trained Operator card.
