THE AIM OF THE COURSE IS TO:
The Plant Mover Training Course is designed to provide candidates with the essential theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to safely and efficiently move plant equipment in accordance with NPORS standards.
WHO DO WE RECOMMEND ATTENDS THE COURSE?
The NPORS Plant Mover Course is recommended for anyone responsible for moving plant machinery on site, including new, experienced, or occasional operators who need to demonstrate safe working competence to industry standards.
COURSE SUMMARY

Provides candidates with the knowledge and practical skills to safely move a variety of plant machinery.

Covers key health, safety, and environmental regulations related to plant movement.

Focuses on pre-use inspections, safe operation, and shutdown procedures.

Teaches safe movement, positioning, and parking of plant in accordance with site rules.

Emphasises hazard awareness, communication, and risk control measures.

Includes both theoretical and practical assessments to NPORS standards.
LOCATIONS
Training and testing can be carried out at our training centre, or at your site premises providing site specifications can be met.
COURSE DURATION
1- 2 days depending on experience and candidate numbers
HEALTH & SAFETY TRAINING / TESTING
Candidates are required to have passed the CITB Health, Safety & Environmental test within the past 24 months to obtain the NPORS CSCS Trained Operator card. This test is not mandatory for the Traditional card but can be added upon request.
TESTING / CERTIFICATION
All candidates will complete the Full NPORS Theory & Practical Test and on successful completion will be issued with A 5 year NPORS Traditional Operator card or a 2 year NPORS CSCS Trained Operator card.
