THE AIM OF THE COURSE IS TO:

The aim of a Powered Handheld Breaker Course is to train participants to safely and efficiently operate powered handheld breakers, focusing on hazard awareness, correct handling techniques, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

The Powered Handheld Breaker Course is recommended for construction workers, demolition operatives, and site personnel who need to operate powered breakers safely. It is also suitable for supervisors and employers ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices.

COURSE DURATION

1 Day

HEALTH & SAFETY TRAINING / TESTING

Candidates are required to have passed the CITB Health, Safety & Environmental test within the past 24 months to obtain the NPORS CSCS Trained Operator card. This test is not mandatory for the Traditional card but can be added upon request.

TESTING / CERTIFICATION

All candidates will complete the Full NPORS Theory & Practical Test and on successful completion will be issued with A 5 year NPORS Traditional Operator card or a 2 year NPORS CSCS Trained Operator card.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Forde Training is a registered ATO and can automatically claim any applicable grants upon successful completion of this course. Please ensure that your company is registered with CITB when booking, so we can process the grant claim. If this information is not provided at the time of booking, we may be unable to claim your grant.
