THE AIM OF THE COURSE:
The aim of an NPORS Shunter Vehicle course is to train operators to safely and efficiently move vehicles around a site, using proper communication, signalling, and procedures to minimise risks and prevent accidents.
WHO DO WE RECOMMEND ATTENDS THE COURSE?
This course is recommended for anyone responsible for moving or positioning vehicles on-site, including yard staff, depot workers, warehouse operatives, transport coordinators, and anyone appointed to carry out shunting duties who needs formal training in safe vehicle movements.

Training and testing can be carried out at your site premises providing site specifications can be met.
COURSE DURATION
1- 4 days depending on experience and candidate numbers
HEALTH & SAFETY TRAINING / TESTING
Candidates are required to have passed the CITB Health, Safety & Environmental test within the past 24 months to obtain the NPORS CSCS Trained Operator card. This test is not mandatory for the Traditional card but can be added upon request.
TESTING / CERTIFICATION
All candidates will complete the Full NPORS Theory & Practical Test and on successful completion will be issued with A 5 year NPORS Traditional Operator card or a 2 year NPORS CSCS Trained Operator card.
