THE AIM OF THE COURSE IS TO:
The aim of the NPORS Strimmer / Brush Cutter Course is to provide candidates with the knowledge and practical skills to safely operate and maintain strimmers and brush cutters, enabling them to work efficiently while complying with NPORS standards and health and safety regulations.
WHO DO WE RECOMMEND ATTENDS THE COURSE?
The NPORS Strimmer / Brush Cutter Course is recommended for grounds maintenance operatives, landscapers, and site personnel who are required to use strimmers or brush cutters, including both new and experienced operators seeking NPORS certification to demonstrate safe and competent operation.

Provides candidates with the knowledge and practical skills to safely operate strimmers and brush cutters.

Covers pre-use inspections, safe operation, and maintenance procedures.

LOCATIONS
Training and testing can be carried out at our training centre, or at your site premises providing site specifications can be met.
COURSE DURATION
1- 2 days depending on experience and candidate numbers
HEALTH & SAFETY TRAINING / TESTING
Candidates are required to have passed the CITB Health, Safety & Environmental test within the past 24 months to obtain the NPORS CSCS Trained Operator card. This test is not mandatory for the Traditional card but can be added upon request.
TESTING / CERTIFICATION
All candidates will complete the Full NPORS Theory & Practical Test and on successful completion will be issued with A 5 year NPORS Traditional Operator card or a 2 year NPORS CSCS Trained Operator card.
