QNUK Level 3 Award In First Aid at Work (Management of Catastrophic Bleeding) (RQF) (FAW + Cat Bleed)

This qualification is for those undertaking the role of a first aider in the workplace.

The qualification has the additional assessment criterion for managing a catastrophic bleed.

Pre-Requisites:

This qualification is available to those over 16 years. Candidates should be at least a level 2 numeracy and literacy or equivalent. Candidates under the age of 16 can complete the qualification, however, employers should not rely on those under 16 to be a lone first aider.

Progression route: Learners may progress onto the following qualifications:

• QNUK Level 3 Award in Responding to Anaphylactic Reactions (RQF)
• QNUK Level 3 Award in Responding to Incidents with an AED (RQF)
